Oh, well that was a crap cliffie! :/

But Harry has certainly become infinitely more Wise than the canon-clueless-BWL! Not complaining, he's much easier to like than the perpetual victim. M

Lokabrenna? Rakasha (=demon)? Are those the best you could do for Sirius and Remus? How about Vega or Lyra (both female names for stars)? A werewolf... hmmm... Thiess (a Livonian werewolf)? Gilles (Gilles Garnier, "the werewolf of Dole")? Henry Gardinn (alleged werewolf in Limburg)?

I wonder if you were thinking of Mother Wolf in The Jungle Book. But Kipling spelled her name Raksha. "And it is I, Raksha [The Demon], who answers."

And Dionysodoros? Gift of Dionysus (god of wine and drunkenness) instead of Gift of a Nymph?

But... I can forgive a lot for "Chrismas Fairies and Hanukkah Pixies". Not to mention the role reversal for French Poodles and Rottweilers. LOL!

Clell65619 replied:

Well, Lokabrenna is old Norse for, yes, the Star Sirius and since it indicates the aspects of Loki it fits.

Rakasha is the spelling in my edition of the Jungle Book, and that was the source I used.

This is very good. I'm glad that Harry has Luna and Orestes has Harri. It is too bad that Arthur is like Ginny and has a crush on Harri. Harry did a great job of showing Arthur where he is going wrong. That should help some. I love the crazy way the Grangers celebrate Christmas. That was funny. I look forward to more of this story. p

Very good story, I love how you have an actuall plot behind a somewhat Girl Harry universe. That said, after a cliff hanger like that update as soon as you can!

ACK! Evil Cliffie!
I am really enjoying this story - I loved the smack down that Harry gives this world's Padfoot and Moony. For a werewolf, Moony is the biggest *ahem*kitty*ahem* that ever lived!

"Arthur, you can feel anything you want to feel. Part of being an adult is to feel what you feel, but not allow your feelings to interfere with how you deal with other people If you keep this up, no one will want to have much of anything to do with you. If you want to be angry, then by all means be angry, but direct that anger to someone who isn’t innocent in the problem. Orestes didn’t do anything to you, and in no way do you have first claim on Harri’s affections."
How profound yet if this was actually used then a harry/ginny relationship would make better sense

A very good and a very different story. Actually the first I have ever seen with this concept.
Excellent character work and very comprehensive world.

Just on thing I do not like:

Cliffhanger!
I think cliffhangers should be awarded with 2-3 hours of cruciatus exposure.
:-))

So please update this one soon.

Oh please continue this!

It's completely fantastic. I laughed myself silly while reading this, all while marveling at the complex-awesomeness of your flipped universe.

The only errors I spotted were a few cases of misused pronouns, but that's no big deal(:

- Much like Daffy Duck, at least with this story, I have rampant Pronoun Problems. I never seen to catch them all.

Huh, it isn't showing my review, so I post again and hope not to be Shade mark 2. ;P

I really am digging this story, you have an awesome idea, a wonderful execution, and some really cool character building as well as taking a lot of risks that make for a memorable story!

I noticed a few gender flubs smattered about but they almost make it more fun as they remind me that Harry sees his original friends in all his current companions and enemies. So even when it gets odd it just makes it all the better! :3D

Love this!
I really am loving how you've set this up, a bit odd in some parts, and social implications and word usage of a true reversal were a bit odd, but that's not what makes this so awesome.

It's the fact you've stayed true to a very odd and original idea, and let Harry grow by looking at his interactions throught the mirror universe. He can recognize how very wrong Black is, because it's not *Padfoot* it's Paddy.

I really hope to see more of this, as it has about 300 things I love, and more every few paragraphs! :D

I'm very sorry for multiple reviews. The [Review] button seemed so unresponsive...

Nice work.

Flipped social gender roles reminds me a bit of "The Black Jewels" series by Anne Bishop... although while in "The Black Jewels" women ruled and males served, it was males that were aggresive. On the other hand it had non-evil dark (common saying is "Hell's Fire, Mother Night, and May The Darkness Be Merciful").

Note however that the aggresiveness of males (social and not) has its reasons: it is evolutionary strategy. Females must (for biological reasons) invest much more in offspring, etc. Still, "narrative license" - it makes for a good plot line.

Not to gripe or anything, because I still love the story, but when did Ginevra Weasley (of ch. 3) become Monty? Also back a ways I noticed Mr. Abbot having a similar name change to Haden from Howard or something like that. (Haden is a much better name for him, though)

Cell are you going to finish this story? I think we've all been waiting.
