To have a spell disguised by speaking what seemed to be "natural" dialogue (given the circumstances) and in English is absolutely brilliant! Tom never had a chance against Lily.

Bravo! for a unique combination of ideas here that make for a fascinating story. I really love what you did to Tom here and I can appreciate just what effort Lily put into her protections - especially since they obviously worked as expected. It was enjoyable to see a good Dumbledore as opposed to the MBB we usually see (granted, I think the MBB can be justified by what we see in canon, but if there was something behind that...).

In any case, another most enjoyable work from you.
