My eyes just about popped out of my head when I realized what this was. I do admit, I was a bit slow. The "orange with black stripes" didn't scream "Garfield" at me, and even after Hermione called him that, it took me a moment to realize that she didn't name her cat after the infamous feline, but in fact was.

Anyway, thanks for writing, This was fun, if a bit disturbing too.

I love it! I like the idea that Harry can talk to the cat, much to Hermione and McGonagall's annoyance! As a cat owner myself, my cat also thinks SHE owns me, not the other way around.

I hope you update this story. I'd especially love to read more chapters about Garfield and Hogwarts. Love to see him annoy Ron some more as well as a select others! I laughed at how he and Mrs. Norris are getting along. I am so glad that my cat only eats cat food and not lasagna, otherwise I'd have to make it all the time for her. She does like spaghetti, though.
