Bravo!
When the judges were discussing alternate 3rd tasks I hope you were referring to MXC and not Wipeout.
That is all.

I enjoyed your story. Perhaps Harry could save the planet from asteroid colision by denying the asteroid a permit? Thanks for writing. W.

I love the premise behind this story. Very well written as always and would love to see more Inspector 13.

Haha, still fun. Eddie/Edwina is a weird name for a girl. Lol, I snorted at the date form. Nice idea. The bank was entertaining too.
This is clever.

I do hope that you carry on with this story as its great

Haha, that was entertaining. Until you revealed some BS that the badge and clipboard were real. It would have helped the illusion and Harry's credibility that he quickly did the research or something. A dues ex machina magical item given to him through silly means retroactively is dumb. I didn't like that at all. Still, everything up to that was fun and I'm interested to see more.

Brilliant story, DM!
I've greatly enjoyed the narrative, and found your Wizard version of "rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock" to be quite funny. Shouldn't Pettigrew (or Crouch Jr.) have filed a form for kidnapping Harry?
I look forward to reading other works by you soon.
Kind regards,
Renzo

One can imagine how great...Britain would be if Sir Humphrey Appleby & Bernard Wooley were auditors. After allowing your grandkids to watch 11hrs of Yes Minister, you could put them to bed and use this yarn as a nightcap. Enjoyable laugh and Harry gets a decent bird. Cheers.

That was some of the best crack I've read in a very long time. Do you think Percy will propose to Harry? He seems awfully smitten with Harry's newfound compliance with the rules.

And with the Professors' baked goods sales: Do they have the appropriate licensing for the for-profit distribution of baked goods? Are their flats' kitchens rated for commercial baking? Are they following the proper food-safety guidelines?
No? Tsk, tsk. More fines ...

Truly a hilarious fic - it's like he's become an IRS agent....scary!

This has been so much fun to read - tiny anecdote, I have an older brother, retired from the US Army and working as 1st mate on tugs - I introduced him to fanfics, and to the fanfic authors site a couple of years ago. He sent me the link to this story, telling me he had laughed all the way through it.
Making bureaucrats fun, and the good guys - NO one else could do that.
warmest regards
