I can easily see Thor pointing and laughing at Merlin whenever he casts a spell, largely because how Norse culture saw magic as a woman's art, rather than a man's art back in those days.

Great chapter, I loved the way your Harry was so good about pushing the accomplishments of the other team members forward in the aftermath.

the characterizations in the entire story are very enjoyable, but I particularly have enjoyed the internal politics of Slytherin house as you built them in the closing scenes.

thanks for sharing

Interesting chapter, but I think the Kree should have some idea about what magic is due to the female Dire Wraiths. Socerery is pretty much a no no in Skrull society, and given the female Dire Wraiths wield dark magics is probably part of it as the Dire Wraiths are the Inhuman offshoot of the Skrullian race.

But that's the only real nitpick I got.

I like this story and your style of writing a lot.

It has been a while but is there any chance of an update or have you finished with this story for some reason?

Thank you so much for this absorbing story. I made myself do some yard work before I sat down to read. Sooner than I would like, I hit the end. Bummer! Hopefully you will have time to post another chapter soon.

Update please, god this was interesting, are you planning on incorporating events from Avengers or Iron man 2 or 3 in?

Clell65619 replied:

No.  The story was fully plotted out before Iron Man 1 came out, and I'm not changing anything significant in it.

This story is interesting. The portrayals of the Marvel universe characters are pretty good, and I like the by-play between the magical authorities in Britain and the comic book types.

What I very much DON'T like is the various characters that are unrecognizeable from the HP canon - most notably Dumbledore. The version of Dumbledore here is simply too far from canon. He is completely uncaring, callous, supremely arrogant, and appears to be totally amoral. He is also a bumbling fool. All in all, he brings what could be a very interesting story fully into the realm of the absurd. Why even bother writing his character if its going to bear no resemblance to the canon one?

This has been one of the most entertaining stories I have read in a while. Though, I am not a big fan of "super hero" thing, and don't know a lot about the history, your story is a great read. I love that you provide back ground material on the characters of those of us who are not "in the know."

Another fantastic chapter! I like Harry's use of logic to point out the oddity of visiting the Shrieking shack as a fun thing to do in Hogsmeade!

Clell65619 replied:

Glad you like it.  As far as the Shrieking Shack, the whole idea of a people who routinely speak with ghosts and other spirits being frightened of a haunted house never made much sense to me.

So when do we get to see more.. I'm really into this one and I don't like crossover's generally.

This is a fantastic chapter. I had to read the whole story again to get caught up. Sorry it took so long. It is great that Harry had Neville over to his house during the summer. The stay at longbottom manor was educational to Harry. I'm glad Harry is getting to know Tracey. She has a tough road ahead of her. I loved the part where Tony told Dumbledore he had better notify the other parents about their children missing.. He needs to be told what he should be doing sooner than later. It is terrible that the Kree may have the kids. What are they doing to Harry? I look forward to more of this story. Soon I hope. Thanks for writing. pms

I love it.. I think Harry deserves all of these heros standing up for him. Enough is enough.
