Interesting. I wonder what the Kree want with Harry. I do wonder if Operation Galactic Storm had happened in this story as the Kree would have one major bone to pick with Iron Man and the Avengers.
And if this covers Year 5 can you please have Cable as the DADA?
Clell65619 replied:
- Cable isn't going to appear in the fic. I"m keeping the X-people to a minimum.
- Hank McCoy has made his appearances and will again (He's vital to the end game), Franklin is attending Xaviers to get control of his powers, and Kitty Pryde will make an appearance 4th year, but beyond that, no Xers.

Just wanted to say I am truly enjoying your story. It is better than what a lot a people are putting out and calling the novels. Hope to see more of this story soon.

Hi:
I was recently re-reading Harry Potter and the Invincible Technomage. I was struck by something when I got to the scene in Chapter 12 when Stark questions Dumbledore about course offerings at Hogwarts, expressing dismay at the lack of hard sciences, maths, English, and other coursework in the curriculum. Given:
1. The antiquarian face that Rowling’s wizarding world puts forward,
2. The emphasis on Latin-derived spellwork, and
3. the extreme longevity of magical folk;
has anyone in fandom explored why a school that prides itself on being an elite center of education completely ignores Latin, Greek, and the classics? Isn’t the lack of attention to modern academic subjects that Stark decries in fact much less surprising than the lack of a fifth or sixth-year Harry struggling through Greek tragedies in their original language?
After all, taking Dumbledore’s age at approximately 150, and ignoring any details canon might provide as to when he and Grindlewald were students together, the school’s headmaster might have started Hogwarts in the 1850s, taught by at least some professors whose own educations occurred before the American Revolution. A British magical world that rejects modernity in favor of 19th century trappings like magical gaslights, steam engines, and thestral-drawn carriages seems unlikely to have adopted an educational paradigm that entails even the children of the elite (e.g. Malfoy) receiving training in little beyond what are (to them) vocational subjects.
I don’t know how one might craft a readable fic that includes a plausible rationale for this, but have been musing about the discrepancy for a couple weeks. Since your entertaining story triggered the thought, I decided to share.
Thanks for your several wonderful stories. Technomage is one of the few overt crossovers I enjoy unreservedly, and is my favorite among your in-progress stories.

Rereading this chapter, and suddenly realized... Diablo? The FF's alchemical foe, Diablo, teaching Neville potions? This should be amusing.

- Yeah, especially when Nev get's back to Snape's loving care and realizes that the git isn't all that intimidating.

A magical computer made from vibranium. The very idea is terrifying.
