And the word of the day is.....insensate. No, green. AAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Don't suppose Draco's new found speech impediment came courtesy of a tongue-piercing? Didn't see an explanation. Please, oh please have him keep it, and have him mess up spells to hilarious effect, or have a scene where he learns why tongue piercings are popular enhancements during certain oral activities.
Love the story...goading me into working on my own half-baked H/Susan idea (or at least another Python Defense update).

- Draco's muffling was due to his hoodie's uh hood being synched tight, allowing only his eyes to show... ala Kenny from South Park... who co-incidentally, Draco was standing in for that memorable day.

This is great! Thank you.
I really like your version of Lucius and Draco, particularly the way Lucius keeps hoping someone else is Draco's father.

An excellent chapter a very creative way for Harry to complete the task he has sense it would be freezing at that time of year in Scotland and to go for a swim maddness. Harry's gift/bribe to the Merfolk was money well spent and atleast was not as expensive as what the Dragon asked for. The Tournament really is about co-operation.
Myrtle would be a perv she really should pass on or go see Nick.
Susan will be pleased Harry values her lets hope by stories end enough for Harry to see her naked without the need to duck a knife borrrowed from Fleur or run for Amelia. Saving a girl also does not make Harry look gay like in the books.
I always wondered how they picked people to rescue using Fleur's sister would cause another international incident. In never fails to shock me how easily Albus uses Harry as bait or a weapon the man really did raise Harry to die a pity the old man did not end up blind.
Fleur continues to impress Draco's suffering is always funny and Fleur would need a blade to hand I can picture her being good at throwing them as well. I think Merfolk VS Veela the Veela would win easy Fleur will be famous if she keeps destroying the Malfoy heir and we never did find out why the Malfoys are thought to have left France she might even get an award.
The Lovegoods are amazing, yellow fur made me laugh.
I hope the judges for the task do fight but I think it would take everyone to best Olympe.
It's somewhat of a surprise Crouch Jr likes teaching but given how he spent the last few years even sex mad students and a death curse would be better.
Lucius really should ask his wife for another child or if the pure blood ideals are worth the trouble.
I look forward to the next chapter thanks for this one.

Just brilliant with many nice twists to known events Cho/Krum makes far more sense and I do like Harry/Susan.
It was a nice idea to mention Cedric's friends and having Amelia stand in rather than Percy.
I did feel sorry for Fleur I hope she does get a gift but I loved what she did to Draco causing such an incident will strain UK/France relations. I wonder who the father of Draco really is or what the reason is he is so un Slytherin did Sirius Black and the Lady Malfoy have a family meeting taking always pure to heart?
Ron really is a fool I hope the notes people took of Fleur dealing with him are educational and make it into a book Fleur should have set him on fire to I hope she won't marry a Weasley this time. Ron really is a child all those kids reduced the Weasley Gene Pool or inbreeding caught up with them. I was always so disapointed when Harry accepted his poor appology in the books.
Harry's thoughts were funny about the bath and Cedric. I am pleased for once the Ball went well for Harry. It's good the Puffs like Harry but I never really liked Hannah after how Harry was treated in second year but a Hufflepuff counterpart would be good for Harry he would value loyalty and knowing Amelia will be handy and Susan would not have a problem with Harry fighting or killing dark wizards as thats what her aunt does.
I think too people would expect Harry to marry a pure blood or half blood and Susan could help him cope with the magical world. I wonder how Albus is dealing with all this and will Crouch Jr answer an important question about polyjuice if he gets a girl pregnant will it be a Crouch or Moody the family tree could get very interesting.

A fantastic chapter very funny.
I hope Susan get Harry as Harry/Susan is super rare.
Moody is fool of surprises even when he is a fake given his power, ability to live and scars its no surprise he is a stud and who knows how he got some of his scars and lost body parts dark curses or angry/lust driven woman.
Ron really is a prat and I loved what was said about Draco for once I feel sorry for Lucius.
A far better plan to talk to Kiska and gold well spent and a happy dragon is always good I wonder what the other dragons could have gotten if Fleur used her Veela powers any gold would be easy to get men giving her all their gold just because she asked.
Charlie has some sense. Thanks for this it made me laugh.

This is a great fic, very funny in places and an interesting take on the tournement. please please keep going as I would like to see how this ends. I espeically like the romance between harry and susan, the way fleur left malfoy at the bottom of the lake and crouch's time at hogwarts. more soon

Really, Draco - just shave your head and go punk! :) Snicker.
Looking forward to the third task...

Err, how did DRACO of all people get into the lake? Other than that 'quibble', I really enjoyed the chapter!

- Draco, and for that matter, all the other Hostages were selected by the Goblet of Fire. The aftermath of that selection is what lead to everyone in Dumbledore's office discussing the fourth name.

This is a really different way for Harry to use for the second task. A boat, a dry suit and a pallet of Jif Peanut Butter? Very creative. At least he got Susan out of that cold water ASAP. That and he was first to return back with his hostage. Whatever made Dumbledore use Malfooy for Fleur's hostage after what he did to her at the Christmas ball is beyond reasonalbe. Although, as Harry thought, reason has nothing to do with wizards so Draco was probably a good choice. Fleur's reaction was very kind compared to what she could have done. I wish I could see the wig they came up with for Draco. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms

- For the purposes of this story, Draco, and indeed all the hostages were selected by the Goblet of fire, for indeed, the thing Fleur would miss most was the ability to torture the little cockroach.

It is a little weird that Draco is the person that Fleur would miss the most

Oh, lord. Absolutely hilarious, especially the merpeople. I really like the idea of Xeno Lovegood having more than one newspaper and the newspaper for snakes/dragons/other sapient beings. Very good.
Definitely on my check-back for updates list.

::shrug:: Really, it's the only answer that makes sense. Even in canon Draco has neither Lucius' power nor cunning and while that *might* be chalked up to his being a spoiled brat pureblood; given his egregious stupidity here (he's making *Ron* look good), there's got to be more.
I'm rather looking forward to seeing what else happens here as several folk become further dicomfitted as Harry does things his way, not theirs. I admit, I do quite like the Harry/Susan and Hermione/Cedric pairings as both make a lot of sense.
